Sir Umberto do Clã dos Ursos

Well at the same time and at the same place as the Santarem dog show there was a cavy show going on. Our friend Rita was there with her Cavys and oh well Isabela fell in love with Umberto because he had the hair like her and with the same colour. So Umberto the Cavy come home and is now living at Isabela room. Umberto is a Merino Cavy. The fun thing is That Cavys have shows like the dogs and pedigrees too. Isabela is so excited about that that she will start going to Cavy Shows with Umberto. Soon more updates. Umberto will hav his special page at the Mont'Alves website soon. Santarém Dog Show

today it was the Santarem International Dog Show. Denyah and Bunny were entered and Isa went along to support. I went to the show with Isabela and we divided the handling. I did the breed with both dogs and Isabela did the finals. All went very well. Denyah got the CACIB in chmapion Class and Bunny got best Junior. Mom Denyah got the BOB. At the finals Bunny was selected for the top 6 Junior females but althought very close did not get to the podium. Thank you Isabela and better luck next time.

walk in the beach

We went tfor a walk in the beach with out dogs and with a friend pit bull that was spending the weekend with us.

Ferrari d'Eroudur Pictures

Today we went to visit Ferrari that lives close to our house. Ferrari come from the d'Eroudur Kennel in Belgium.

Aucuri Agility Speed da Casa Mont'Alves

Guri made an enourmous sucess last weekend by participating for the first time at an obdience trial. She got her certificate in basic obdience and will contin ue her carrer in obdience. Soon she will also try the agility and will try her best to fullfill the expectations left by the 3 time Portuguese Agility Champion Turra groenedael owned by her master.

Isa is not pregnant

Althought everyone involved did all the best for Isa to get pregnant unfortunatly after today's appointment at the vet the ultrasound reveled that she is not expecting babies.

It was a very sad moment for all of us at home. Anyway i would like to thank again to Marcella and her lovely mother that took care of Isa while she was in Holland.

Maybe next time we will have better luck.

My Wonderful Handlers

The thing that made happier at the French Special was to see my children handling our own dogs. Isabela with 10 presented Denyah and Bunny at the breed judgement and Henrique with 5 presented Denyah at the Group and at the selection. I was a very very proud father at the French special.
