Denyah Best of Group @ the Arcos de Valdevez National Show

Although Denyah has been out of the rings this year, giving the turn to her son James to shine, and he is now the 3rd best puppy all breeds in Portugal, lets see what the next two shows reserve and if he can keep is ranking, I entered Denyah to a show last weekend.

The reason was that the judge is a BSD breeder and I always fell responsible to whenever a judge/breeder of our breed comes to judge in Portugal to present them my dogs.

And it was worth it, Suncica Lazic loved Denyah, did a super report on her and later on with a different judge Denyah won Best Herding Dog in Show ( Best in First Group).

It has a super happy moment to see Denyah on the highest place in the podium. And it was one of the highest entries to a National show this year 470 dogs and the group had 18 competitors …. It feels Good !!!

Thank you all my friends for the fantastic support for the Best in Show but maybe next time LOL!!!

Today i got a super email that made my day, actually my all month :) I had lost contact with the owner of a puppy from Denyah's first litter and today i got an email from him:) This puppy was sold to a gentelmen in Spain in Zaragoza that breed sheep and wanted a dog to guard and herd them. He had no cell phone or email and everything was made the old way with phone calls and letters :) He is comming into the XXI century and i am so happy for that :) Here is the email !!!!! I am Manuel López from Zaragoza, the one who bought the dog Laekenois.
I am writing to inform you of the dog.

Aveiro National Show

The all family went to the Aveiro NAtional Show and we took an unusuall number of dogs. Six !!!! Well the show deserved it

Isabela Handled our friends Teckel, Gandalf (brother to Shangri-La) and got Best Baby with him With Shangri-La she managed to achieve Best female

On the Shelties i handled Quila that got BOB and short listed in the ...group (best 6) and Qhila's daughter, Fidgi got BOB Puppy and 2nd Best Puppy in Group

The laekens also did very well. Denyah was 3rd in Group and James Best Puppy in Group. In the end they went for the couple competition and got 3rd Best Couple in show with 12 couples in the ring !!!

But the best was that Henrique won Best mini handler in Show !!!!!!
I am so proud of my little childrens :) Isabela and Hanrique are doing a great job :) !!!!!
