Quila and the horses

Isabela birthday was on saturday and the party was at a friends farm with all her friends. at Quinta do Trevo all the children got the chance to ride a horse for a while. The dogs went along althought for safety reasons the laekens were kept away from the horses and the children while they were riding. Since Quila is the little one she got the chance to mingle and get topknow those big dogs.

Here are some pictures. The last one was taken in the end of the afternoon when i found her absolutly exausted. what a day for her.

Quila arrived and from the first moment she has been a pleasure to have arround. She is super smart , very clean and just adorable. To prove how clean she is we took some pictures from her.

She is a shetland sheepdog from the O the Little lodge kennel in Holand.

We have great expectations for our new girl.

Today we went for a walk along the beach with the girls and the children. we took two very nice pic from the girls.

Sir Umberto do Clã dos Ursos

Well at the same time and at the same place as the Santarem dog show there was a cavy show going on. Our friend Rita was there with her Cavys and oh well Isabela fell in love with Umberto because he had the hair like her and with the same colour. So Umberto the Cavy come home and is now living at Isabela room. Umberto is a Merino Cavy. The fun thing is That Cavys have shows like the dogs and pedigrees too. Isabela is so excited about that that she will start going to Cavy Shows with Umberto. Soon more updates. Umberto will hav his special page at the Mont'Alves website soon. Santarém Dog Show

today it was the Santarem International Dog Show. Denyah and Bunny were entered and Isa went along to support. I went to the show with Isabela and we divided the handling. I did the breed with both dogs and Isabela did the finals. All went very well. Denyah got the CACIB in chmapion Class and Bunny got best Junior. Mom Denyah got the BOB. At the finals Bunny was selected for the top 6 Junior females but althought very close did not get to the podium. Thank you Isabela and better luck next time.
